What is EWOT?

EWOT Stands for Exercise With Oxygen Therapy or Training. Put simply it is the ability to Exercise with Oxygen rich (85%+) air. Normal air contains roughly 21% Oxygen at sea level. When doing an EWOT session you are consuming air with 4 times the normal Oxygen content. Based on the original therapy model “Oxygen Multi Step Therapy” (now known as EWOT) a type session lasts for just 15 minutes with a mixture of low and high intensity work on a piece of exercise equipment. As your heart rate increases this acts as a “pump” that pressurizes your vascular tubing and pushes the now Extra Oxygen rich blood through out the body and most importantly (because of the high pressure) to places in the body that may not have received blood flow for quite sometime (micro-circulation).

Our EWOT Systems provide unlimited amount of Oxygen Rich air for a minimum of 15 minutes at high intensity. For EWOT to be most beneficial you need an unlimited supply of Extra Oxygen Rich air. this can not be done with just a standard concentrator even if it supplies 10 litres per minute of oxygen air. Your lungs consume anywhere from 2 to 6 liters of air per breath at a rate of 8 to 16 breaths per minute (at rest) as you can see the numbers just dont add up even if you are just resting and breathing oxygen. Real EWOT systems will store the Oxygen in a reservior until there is enough there to breath freely for a 15 minute session
